I love the first two but I wasn’t a big fan of Spanglish. Pan’s Labyrinth would be my addition to the list.
@ Grace – I think I was especially touched by the girl in Spanglish that struggled with her weight. I thought her acting was superb. Also, the girl who played the daughter of Flor was very funny.
I haven’t seen Pan’s Labyrinth because I heard it was scary and I don’t do well with scary movies. LOL.
i thought that it was touching in spanglish when the maid? took the chubby girls clothes home and altered them so that she could wear them. it was sweet.
and i loved real women have curves. haven’t seen the first one, nor pans labryinth. me no like scary movies.
Pan’s Labrynth is a little scary but I think it’s worth it. I am not a fan of scary movies either. You have to see La Misma Luna! It is one of the most touching films I have ever seen.
