  2. Can you explain to me why USA celebrates cinco de Mayo?

    In México, it is only celebrated with a military parade and that’s it. It is not Mexican Independence Day as many might think. It is the day Mexicans kicked french butt out México.

      @ Micky – ¿Quieres la verdad? Most estadounidenses celebrate Cinco de Mayo so they can drink beer, eat at Mexican restaurants, and wear big sombreros. LOL. It’s just an excuse to party. Many think it is Mexico’s Independence Day, which as you pointed out, is not true.
