Los Pikadientes de Caborca

I love these güeys. I think they’re hilarious. Their music and videos always put a smile on my face. I can’t even count how many times I’ve listened to La Cumbia del Río. I dare you to listen and sit still. No dancing! No smiling!…Es imposible!

And the other day, I discovered their tribute to Michael Jackson – a rendition of Billie Jean. Qué padre! His accent makes this super chido. Now I know what is lacking in my life – Music sung in English by people who don’t speak English with a native accent. You think I’m joking but I’m serious. I really love it.

  1. Santa María Purísima! Ouch! Bili Jin.Funny videos but are these guys for real? Maybe after 10 Tequilas I wouldn’t hear all the gallos! Anyways, I wouldn’t mind partying with them, they look like fun!

  2. You have single handedly revolutionized my music experience time and time again. First with Parry Gripp (too funny!) then Jarabe De Palo’s Bonito (a favorite!), and the others!

I appreciate that you put these things on your blog (as well as your recipes). It is a daily reminder that people everywhere can have similar values even though our experiences are diverse!

    • @ *pol – Thanks for the feedback. Knowing what you guys enjoy helps me when deciding on content. I’m ADD so I can be all over the place!

Your last sentence there is profound, my friend :)

  3. HAHAHA! I think this is hilarious! I love that they are being goofy while still having some talent. Music should be fun, and this makes you want to eat, drink, (dance), and be merry!
