Taxi Latino

Today is Spanish Friday so this post is in Spanish. If you participated in Spanish Friday on your own blog, leave your link in comments. English translation is in italics!

The other week we were driving along the highway, (on our way to who knows where), and we spotted this car driving next to us.

It says: Taxi Latino, “All passengers ride for the price of one.”

I’m not even going to make a joke. The photo speaks for itself.

  1. I am always looking for ways to save…this would be one time i will make an exception on feeding a stereotype lol chistosisimo!

  2. This is very funny!!!

Pero, all taxis have thatt “policy”… All passengers ride for the price of one… But este porque dice Taxi Latino, its like a challenge! LOL

Crazy things happen in South America that would never pass in the U.S. because of our strict laws. My friend’s father (he’s Peruvian) says that in Peru, the driving laws are more like guidelines. So true!

    • LOL – I don’t think we’ve ever fit 8, but I spent a good portion of our trip to El Salvador in the backseat of a small car with 2 man-sized teenage boys and my 10 year old, (and I’m not exactly tiny myself.) … I’m still not sure how we fit, but that was the car our best friend had and we made the best of it. Jajaja.
